Wow. Thanks for posting this, Billy. I was totally blown away. As someone who does spend a lot of time with words, and in the same medium as this video, it was especially moving.
Now, I really don’t mean to drag political issues into this post, which really doesn’t deserve it, but the link below is to a recent story on CNN. First, there didn’t really seem to be a good place on the blog to post the link, but then it struck me that there are actually some similarities between the video and the story. You may not like every cut program on this list, but I feel like they will all be missed. A lot more than cutting $100B out of the military budget would ever be missed. Once again, I can’t understand people who favor cutting programs like this rather than suggesting that we stop exporting industrialized murder around the world.
