I’d just like to point out that your map has an error. Nebraska’s electoral college vote split in 2008. The unicameral has passed legislation that allows the overall winner of the state to get 2 electoral college votes (the “senate votes”) and the other 3 electoral college votes (the house of representative votes) to be determined by the popular vote in each district. McCain/Palin won the overall popular vote and the 1st and 3rd districts, gaining them 4 electoral college votes. Obama/Biden won the 2nd district, giving them one electoral college vote.
