I never thought I’d one day be rooting for Georgetown in a basketball game, but count me as a fan today.  

A Chinese professional team attacked the college players in what was supposed to be a “friendship” exhibition game in Beijing. They’re lucky Patrick Hewing is retired. 

I am surprised and delighted that the Chinese would be so undisciplined. A Soviet team never would have lost its cool like this — it would have been right to the gulag if they had.  This gives China a big fat black-eye in world opinion today. That’s worth a black-eye or two on the court.
